Ben Martens joined UBT in 2023 after five years of experience with a large national bank. His primary focus in his role as Vice President - Commercial Loan Officer will be building relationships to recommend the right lending products. He’ll also help local business owners optimize their cash management, manage their payment processes, leverage credit cards for business expenses, and find efficiencies to allow them to focus on driving value.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a masters in accounting, Martens is also a graduate of the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Nebraska Program Class of 2022. His current community involvement includes serving as treasurer on the boards of three local non-profits: the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Lincoln Rotary 14, and The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults.
