Brittany Planos is UBT’s Financial Literacy Program Manager and brings more than 10 years of K-12 and higher education leadership experience to UBT. She’s passionate about drawing on the strengths of the local community to empower its members to reach their financial goals.
Brittany is an advocate for educational equity and social justice and has presented at national conferences regarding best practices in supporting low-income and first-generation learners. She has led student enrichment programs for the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO programs and has managed recruitment, diversity, and assessment efforts at UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas), the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and Creighton University. Brittany’s service has been recognized by the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Brittany is a Gallup Strengths Coach and identifies as a first-generation student. She holds a B.S. in Education & Human Sciences from UNL, an M.Ed. in Higher Education from UNLV, and is an MBA candidate at Creighton University.
