Mikaela is a native-Lincolnite mother of two girls. She and her husband enjoy spending time outside with them, painting, watching movies, and taking in all the great things Lincoln has to offer young families — Lincoln Children's Zoo, Antelope Park, and the Lincoln Children's Museum.

Starting at UBT in 2019 in the teller role, Mikaela developed a passion for helping others. One of her favorite aspects of her current branch manager role is developing her employees and helping her customers discover hidden potential in their unique financial situations using UBT's needs-based banking philosophy. She thrives on connection and helping others grow.

Mikaela completed the Customer Service Propel program in 2021 and 2022 — and graduated from UBT's internal Leadership Development Program in 2024. She enjoys being actively involved in the community of Lincoln by helping at the Food Bank, taking part in Hickman's Trick or Treat on the Trail, volunteering to teach Junior Achievement, or organizing networking events for her team.
