Nathan grew up on a small farm in central Nebraska, north of Wood River. His family were gravity-irrigated farmers, with a small cow/calf operation, and they also had a 75-sow farrow-to-finish hog operation. He grew up detasseling and showed both cattle and sheep in 4-H during the Hall County Fair. So, to say he comes by his ag lending career honestly is an understatement.



Nathan loves the people he gets to work with in his job. He believes agriculture is family, and appreciates that he gets to work with family-owned (and sometimes multigenerational) farmers to achieve a common goal. He gets to see and hear the passion the customer has when trying new science (hybrids), trends, and technology to improve the efficiency of their soil or how they can improve their feed to achieve a certain rate of gain. Through it all, Nathan is excited to be a close business partner in helping farming families achieve their goals.
