Steve Schaffer joined UBT in 2024 after seven years at Lutz, an Omaha accounting firm consistently ranked among the top 75 firms nationally. As Assistant Vice President – Commercial Loan Officer, His focus will be on building relationships to recommend the right lending products. He’ll also help local business owners optimize their cash management, manage their payment processes, leverage credit cards for business expenses, and find efficiencies to allow them to focus on driving value.

Schaffer received his undergraduate degree from Occidental College (Los Angeles, CA) before getting his MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018. His current community involvement includes serving on the board of both the Lincoln Community Foundation and Lincoln Lighthouse. He also was a part of the Lincoln Leadership Fellows 36 cohort in 2020-21.
