The Career Academy (TCA) encourages unique partnerships, engaged community members, and innovative students to collaborate to create an experience that is unlike any found in a traditional high school. Research confirms that students who participate in career and technical education have higher grade point averages, are 7.5 times less likely to drop out of high school, graduate high school at a higher rate, and complete more high school and college credits. They are also more likely to complete two-year and four-year college degrees. TCA expects every participant to earn their high school diploma, have an arsenal of learned and applied career readiness skills, and be ready for immediate employment or advanced education. This innovative program provides a skilled labor force that is ready and willing to get to work.
