Lighthouse would like to start a Trades Advancement Program to help connect students and parents of low-income families to high-paying trades jobs with hands-on programs. Lighthouse will partner with many different companies to expose our families to plumbing, electrical, construction, industry, and many others. Many of these jobs will do their own training and do not require college. This is a plus because the average cost of college is $50,000. Debt is a concern for many families, and this is a way to break poverty cycles in our community. Help us in making a difference in the lives of our families struggling to make ends meet.
