Since beginning his career in the wealth management division as a legal intern in 2003, Andy Kafka has been instrumental in the UBT Trust department’s overall growth. Andy’s favorite aspect of his job is helping individuals and families navigate life’s toughest moments. “To walk alongside those families and provide reassurance and confidence as we help them is life-giving,” Andy says about his work.

Andy is past president of the Lincoln Parks Foundation and he’s currently active in the community through serving on the Spring Creek Prairie Advisory Board and as a high school youth group leader at his church.  Andy and his wife are former foster parents and love to support other families interested in foster care and adoption.

Professionally, Andy serves on the American Bankers Association Virtual Symposium Advisory Board. He received his law degree from the University of Nebraska Law School.

When he’s not serving his clients and community, Andy can be found on Lincoln bike trails running or biking, and spending time with his four children. On a perfect Sunday afternoon, Andy can be found listening to yacht rock while playing cribbage with friends.
