Cheri Luff joined the UBT family in August 1996. She gained valuable experience in Trust Operations and Investment Services. Prior to that Cheri spent nine years with a local insurance company specializing in variable life and annuities. Having a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln brings a helpful skillset to her job. Her favorite part of working in the UBT Trust department is “building relationships with families and carrying on those relationships with their extended family.”
Cheri currently works with clients in our Lincoln, Omaha and Columbus offices. She is a member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council and works with rescue dogs. Her most impactful moment — not counting the births of her two kids — was trudging through a foot of mud and muck and then being forced to bulldoze her childhood home after the 2019 Fremont flood. Experiencing that heartbreak makes Cheri even more determined to stand beside families during their toughest struggles. You can find Cheri at the family home by the lake that she helped rebuild with her husband, three dogs and extended family.
