While you’re giving 100% to your work every day, we want to make sure you’re also diligently saving for retirement. That’s why we offer a 25% match on anything you put into your 401(k) up to 6% of your gross income — not to mention a yearly profit-sharing contribution (more on that below!). Insurance package
Your all-around health matters to us. That’s why we offer two qualified high-deductible health plans to choose from, top-notch dental and vision coverage, and a few optional add-ons to round out your protection, like an AllState cancer coverage plan and a hospital and accident coverage plan from Assurity. Plus, we’ve got short-term disability, life insurance, and more. We’ve got you covered.
Health benefit accounts
UBT’s health benefit accounts (HSAs, FSAs, and DCFSAs) are some of the very best around. Enjoy the triple tax benefits of an HSA if you’re on UBT’s high-deductible health plan and fill in the gaps with an LPFSA or DCA. Plus, we add funds to your HSA every year (and frontload your FSA if you opt in) for you to use on qualified health expenses.
Profit Sharing
Sharing is caring, and we care a lot
Our associates are vital to our organization’s success, so when the bank does well, we make sure to share it with the folks who made it happen. In addition to our matched contributions to your 401(k) with each paycheck, we give each associate with more than a year of service a discretionary profit-sharing contribution as a deposit to their 401(k)s in March.

Free up your budget and take back some of your precious time, because lunch is served. As part of UBT’s Wellness program, free healthy buffet lunches are available at all Lincoln and Omaha campuses Monday–Thursday, including a fresh and delicious salad bar. Meal prep is a real cinch when you’ve got four meals a week already taken care of — with plenty of healthy options to fill your plate (and your stomach).
Tuition Reimbursement

With UBT’s tuition reimbursement program, you can work for a company that values your education enough to pay for it. Earning and learning are a powerful combo, and if you’re a regular full-time associate, you’re eligible for up to $5,000 annual reimbursement for preapproved classes (tuition, books, and fees are included). Part-time associates are eligible for $2,500 annually, too.
